BISTRO DE CHÂTEAU

At the edge of the woods, an old castle.

A sincere and gourmet table, a cuisine of craftsmanship, of fire and of season.

Maison Nuage, a warm refuge, where time slows down…

Maison Nuage

Welcome to a fragment of our history.

“Nuage” is a name that has been with us since we met .

Back then, after our respective days, we used to meet in a place we called the "nuage".

A small, light refuge where one felt good.

Years have passed, we've moved several times…

But "Nuage" remained. Like a thread that connects us.

Today, we have chosen to bring it to life and share it.

Maison Nuage is now located at the Château de Saint Vitu , a setting that resonates with our history.

Maison Nuage is artisan cuisine : tasty, sincere, made with carefully selected products and a lot of heart.

We cook the way we like to entertain: with simplicity, know-how, and the desire to share what we love most.

MAISON NUAGE, a table,
A castle

When the last dish is served and silence slowly takes its place, there is one thing left to do: do not leave.

The Château de Saint-Vitu, rebuilt around 1653, fell asleep in the heart of a majestic park. The light slides on the pond, the forest is whispered, nature watches over. Here, time slows down, almost naturally.

The five suites of the castle, large and completely renovated, offer an elegant and soothing refuge. The volumes are generous, the materials chosen with care, the gaze rests on the park.

Everything invites rest, calm, disconnection.

Sleeping at the castle is to extend the Maison Nuage experience differently.

It's closing your eyes in a place full of history, and waking up surrounded by nature, as if nothing was pressing.

Our story

Johan spent ten years working in Brussels alongside Chef Christophe Hardiquest (Bon Bon **, Menssa *), progressing from commis chef to executive chef.

Those years shaped his cuisine, which he approaches with passion, humility, sensitivity, and precision. A balance between discipline and emotion, a deep respect for ingredients and artisans, and a constant pursuit of perfect cooking and seasoning.

His cuisine is sincere, generous, precise — just like him.

Élodie trained in 2007 in the culinary and hospitality trades, building her path between the south of France, Australia, and later Paris, within the prestigious Bristol Palace.

Above all, she loves connection, sharing, and the human bond that gives meaning to this profession. Mixology became a natural path for her: a space where creativity and human contact meet. In 2017, she stepped away from hospitality to pursue other projects, while always remaining connected to the world that reflects who she is.

Winter 2022, in Châteauneuf-du-Pape: Johan was working in a Michelin-starred restaurant in the village, while Élodie was a receptionist at the hotel.

Their paths crossed… never to part again.

Spring 2025, in Tinlot, during a birthday weekend, we booked one night in one of the Château’s suites.

It was truly love at first sight: a place full of charm and history, peaceful, surrounded by nature.

We immediately felt a strong connection with the owners, and that is when our project came to life.

Maison Nuage is a piece of us.

A story of two people, one we wish to bring to life and share with you.

So, welcome to our home.
